Business conducted online, and the use of websites to connect with audiences has become a multi-billion industry, and with its rapid growth brings new challenges. The biggest challenge? Fierce competition.
COVID-19 triggered a boom in online shopping, and the market revenue grew by an average of 25 per cent. There was an inevitable slump in 2022 and 2023 as markets normalised, but we are expected to see high revenue growth in the next two years.
With a saturated market that will only continue to grow, how can online businesses stand out from the crowd? Competition can come in many forms, as well as keeping up with competitive pricing, products and services.
And what’s the aim and goals for all online businesses? Conversion rates.
One way to make visitors convert is incorporating a fluid, flowing website with a great thought-out User Journey to your website.
One important tip is to draw the user in with a stand-out homepage. An amalgamation of all your website’s pages, it should include your key values and a good proposition – and look so smart that it stops them in their tracks. It should also have a ‘clear way out’, easy navigation to the rest of the pages.
We are so grateful that one of our speakers at the London marketingSHOWCASE, Sean Giles, from WebBox, will be sharing his expert knowledge on this topic. From the hero section of your homepage, to pain points and highlighting expertise, take away tips on website mastery and how to exceed 98% of your competitors.
